FC Porto will face VfB Stuttgart, and Sporting Braga will take on Ferencváros in the Europa League Round of 16, according to the draw held today at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
Having finished fifth in the league phase, the “Dragões” were seeded, so they will play the first leg in Germany on March 12, the same applying to Braga, who were seeded after finishing sixth, playing first in Hungary. The second leg is scheduled for March 19.
If they advance, FC Porto will face the winner of the clash between Nottingham Forest, coached by Vítor Pereira, and Midtjylland. Meanwhile, Sporting Braga, if they overcome this round, will play the winner of the match between Panathinaikos and Real Betis.
