Recently, the U.S. Department of Justice made public thousands of documents concerning the Jeffrey Epstein case, revealing mentions of Macau and the name “Stanley Ho” in FBI records and email exchanges primarily from the past decade. These are linked to investigations into sexual crimes, human trafficking, and economic influence networks involving the American millionaire.

According to TDM’s analysis of these files, which were released as part of judicial processes and information access requests, Macau appears hundreds of times in documents that include discussions about investments in casinos, trips to the region, and contacts with figures associated with the gaming sector.

Direct references to “Stanley Ho” are found in private communications attributed to Epstein, as well as in an FBI document related to a sexual assault and trafficking complaint filed in 2020. In that document, the alleged victim—whose identity is redacted—claims to have been victimized by Jeffrey Epstein and someone identified as “Stanley Ho.”

The complaint mentions incidents of sexual abuse and trafficking over several years, which the investigation classifies as involving child trafficking. The document does not provide additional specifics to confirm if the name mentioned corresponds to the gaming magnate, who passed away that same year.

Additionally, Stanley Ho’s name appears in emails exchanged in 2011 between Jeffrey Epstein and associates, where Epstein describes Ho as the “richest man in Hong Kong,” allegedly controlling much of Macau. In one message, Epstein asks a contact about a woman named Angela, suggesting she might be related to the businessman, though there is no follow-up response in the newly released files.

The documents also reference members of the Ho family, including dinner invitations and mentions of trips to Macau, although many messages and images are partially redacted. There are also exchanges between Epstein and Jean-Luc Brunel, a modeling agent convicted of sex crimes, in which Macau is cited as a travel destination connected to casinos and recruitment through agencies in Asia.

Macau appears in hundreds of documents still under analysis, many of which relate to the investment environment in the region, the revenues of gaming operators, and interests of American entrepreneurs, according to TDM. The records also include conversations involving U.S. political figures discussing financial connections and the exposure of businessmen with interests in Macau’s gaming market.
