The delegation toured the Hengqin International Film Studio to gain an in-depth understanding of film and television production resources and practical operations. The visit aimed to promote cultural exchanges and cooperation between Hengqin and Macao in the film and television sector and explore new opportunities for advancing the global outreach of culture.
In line with the policy of “Co-building a Micro-Short Drama Production and Global Distribution Base in Macau and Hengqin,” the Cultural Affairs Bureau and the Cultural Development Fund jointly organized a Macao film and television industry exchange delegation to visit the Hengqin International Film Studio.
During the visit, the Cultural Affairs Bureau introduced the representatives to the preparations for a Macau film and television-themed website set to launch this year. The delegation also toured the Hengqin International Film Studio and participated in a seminar.
Representatives from the film studio provided detailed information on the practical aspects of micro-short drama production and distribution within the Cooperation Zone. Many industry representatives from Macau actively engaged in the discussions, exchanging ideas on future development and collaboration.
The Cultural Affairs Bureau hopes that this on-site visit will build a bridge for collaboration between the film and television industries of Macao and Hengqin, facilitating the implementation of high-quality projects, including micro-short dramas, and promoting the international dissemination of Chinese culture.
Through visual storytelling, the bureau aims to share the stories of Macau and China. In the future, the Cultural Affairs Bureau will continue to organize industry exchanges to the Cooperation Zone, fostering the scaled and coordinated development of the cultural industries in both Macau and Hengqin.
