Angelo Badalamenti, composer of “Twin Peaks” has died

American composer Angelo Badalamenti, best known for collaborating with filmmaker David Lynch on “Blue Velvet”, “Twin Peaks” and “Mulholland Drive”, died on Sunday aged 85, it was announced on Monday.

Badalamenti died of natural causes with his family at home in Lincoln Park, New Jersey, in the United States, his niece Frances Badalamenti told The Hollywood Reporter.

The information was later corroborated by her agent and friend, Laura Engel, from Kraft-Engel Management, to the Los Angeles Times.
