A former policeman attacked a daycare center in Thailand on Thursday (6), with guns and knives, and killed 32 people, including 23 children. A few minutes later, he murdered the family and committed suicide, police said.
The attack began at 12:30 pm (3:30 am GMT) at a day care center in Nong Bua Lam Phu, in the north of the country. The author fled in a car and ran over several people, according to police.
The criminal has been identified as Panya Khamrab, a 34-year-old former police officer, according to Colonel Jakkapat Vijitraithaya of the provincial police.
After the massacre, Khamrab killed his wife and child before committing suicide, the colonel said.
The dead children are between two and three years old, according to police.
