Analysts believe that gaming revenues will be practically nil in the coming days

Investment banks that follow the gaming industry in the territory believe that the impact of the new outbreak will make revenues practically nil in the near future. This was the scenario outlined by the investment bank JP Morgan Securities, which pointed out that due to “the biggest local outbreak in the last two years” gambling revenues “will likely reach levels very close to zero”

“The casinos remain operational, but we would not be surprised if revenues fall to levels close to zero for at least a few weeks, until the situation is brought under control”, reads the JP Morgan Macau report. Securities, quoted by the GGR Asia portal.

The report also highlights the forecast that the number of visitors in the coming days should be very low or non-existent. Since the outbreak in Macau, the authorities in Zhuhai have started to require quarantine for those who enter the Interior from Macau.
