In April, Boris Johnson was hospitalized in an Intensive Care Unit after contracting the new coronavirus. After being discharged, he thanked the health professionals, including a Portuguese nurse from the Aveiro area.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is isolated after being in contact with a person infected with the new coronavirus. “He will continue to work from Downing Street, including leading the Government’s response to the pandemic. [Boris Johnson] is fine and has no symptoms of covid-19, ”reads a statement from Downing Street.
Johnson met with a small group of deputies for about half an hour on Thursday, including one who subsequently developed symptoms of the disease and tested positive.
