The set of rules came out of the negotiations between the Sanctuary of Fátima and the Directorate-General for Health
The Sanctuary of Fátima will mark the ground with circles, during the 13th of October, to limit the gatherings in the event that usually generates the second largest influx of pilgrims of the year, after the 13th of May. “In order to have a uniform disposition of the assembly in the enclosure, circular occupation areas are created, with markings on the ground, properly spaced. Only a limited number of people can cohabit in each circle ”, the statement sent by the sanctuary to the newsrooms can read.
In all, the organization will allow “about six thousand people” to enter the venue. This set of rules came out of the negotiations between the Sanctuary of Fátima and the Directorate-General for Health, to prevent the spread of infections by the new coronavirus during the 13th of October.
