Results of phase 1 and 2 tests of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine were released this Friday in a scientific journal and are encouraging
The Russian vaccine Sputnik V is able to produce immunity against the new coronavirus without triggering serious adverse reactions, according to an article published on Friday (4) in the scientific journal The Lancet.
This is the first time that data on immunization testing has been made publicly available to scientists and the public. Until then, the lack of transparency about the development and the first tests with the vaccine generated suspicion about its effectiveness.
