Spain bans smoking on the streets and closes bars across the country

Spanish communities reported 3,000 new positives on Thursday, the highest number since April. Spanish Minister of Health announced 11 measures and three recommendations


The Spanish Minister of Health, Salvador Illa, announced this Friday 11 measures and three recommendations after a region of urgency with the autonomous communities in the face of the increase in cases of coronavirus in the country.

Among the measures are the closing of nightclubs and a ban on smoking for the whole country if the distance of two meters cannot be respected.

The minister also made three recommendations: limit the get-togethers to the closest social group, that the gatherings have a maximum of 10 people and that the workers of the health centers be tested frequently.
