For this purpose, he violated the sanitary fence imposed on the capital city and entered Benguela transported by truck, among the goods. After arriving in the province, on the 24th of July, still on the outskirts of Cubal, he contacted his father by telephone. The father, immediately, instructed him not to move, advising, however, to remain where he was, while he reported the presence of his son to the health authorities, coming from a symptomatic city. Moved by the denunciation of the parent, the health technicians went to the locality where the citizen was and took him to the institutional quarantine unit in Cubal.
