A group of Brazilian artists and intellectuals on Tuesday called for the removal of the President, Jair Bolsonaro, in a document that will be handed over to the country’s Chamber of Deputies by opposition parliamentarians.
Among the Brazilian personalities who signed the document are artists such as Chico Buarque and Lucélia Santos, former soccer player Walter Casagrande and former minister Luiz Carlos Bresser-Pereira.
Representatives of social movements, union centrals and opposition parties met in front of the Brazilian Congress, on Tuesday afternoon, to disclose the reasons for Bolsonaro’s dismissal request.
