Spain reopens borders with Portugal on June 22

Spain will reopen the borders with Portugal and France on 22 June. Restrictions on free movement were imposed in March due to the covid-19 pandemic.

The announcement was made this Thursday by Reyes Maroto, Spanish Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism.

“In the case of France and Portugal, I want to confirm that as of June 22, restrictions on land mobility will be eliminated”, said the minister, in a meeting with the international press, adding that, “in principle, the forty will be eliminated” .
