Brazilian president may fall, but “hardly” during the pandemic

Professor of Political Science considers that Brazil “is adrift”.

The professor of Political Science at Fundação Getúlio Vargas Octávio Amorim Neto believes that the President of Brazil will not reach the end of his term, but that he “will hardly fall” during the pandemic, and warns that ‘bolsonarism’ will continue.

“During the pandemic, he [Jair Bolsonaro] will hardly fall, because there is no political environment to remove a President (…), even though he is in permanent conflict with the governors, who try to impose confinement on the populations,” he said, in statements to Lusa, the professor at the Graduate School of Economics (EPGE) of Fundação Getúlio Vargas, in Rio de Janeiro.
