São Tomé and Príncipe complies, as of today, the “mandatory general confinement of the entire population throughout the national territory”, due to the growing number of positive cases of Covid-19.

“Mandatory general confinement of the entire population, throughout the national territory, with the exception of outings for quick purchases and medical emergency situations, under penalty of the offenders incurring a crime of disobedience”, indicates a communiqué issued by the Council of Ministers, disclosed in the Monday to announce the measure.
