It is a super ministry with three portfolios, a great responsibility on the shoulders of a young explorer used to conquering the impossible. Adjany was director of the National Geographic Okavango-Zambeze project, where for four months she traveled about 2,500 kilometers following the course of the Angolan river Okavango, passing through Angola, Namibia and Botswana, as reported by the Angonotícia website.

She was the only woman on a National Geographic men’s team. The Angolan biologist and researcher was also one of the winners of the 2019 Young Champions of the Earth award, attributed by the United Nations (UN) to environmentalists aged between 18 and 30 years. Now appointed Minister of Culture, Tourism and Environment, she was project director for the National Geographic Okavango-zambeze, where for four months she traveled around 2,500 kilometers, passing through Angola, Namibia and Botswana.
