It is a devastating prediction: one of the most influential German think tanks predicts that the impact of coronacrise could lead to setbacks of up to 20% in the main European economies, which will “lose hundreds of billions of euros”.
The German economic research institute Ifo analyzed some of Europe’s economic engines, counting not only the damage from the stop but those that will persist during a slow recovery and came to bleak conclusions.
