Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) continues its multi-year commitment to local social causes with a MOP700,000 donation to Tung Sin Tong Charitable Society, marking the group’s 22nd consecutive annual contribution.
The donation underpins Tung Sin Tong’s December–February fundraising campaign and supports the organisation’s range of charitable services for seniors, youth and disadvantaged groups across Macao.
On December 3, a delegation from Tung Sin Tong, including Chairman Mr. José Chui Sai Peng; Vice Chairman Mr. Jeffrey Vong; and Directors Mr. Victor Armando Fung, Mr. Charles M. Choy, Mr. Alberto Lei and Mr. Jeff Chan visited GEG, where they were warmly received by Mr. Francis Lui, Chairman of GEG; Mr. Buddy Lam, Director of Corporate Affairs of GEG; Mr. Andrew Lui, Head of Project Development of GEG; Ms. Linda Wong, Assistant Senior Vice President of Public Relations of GEG; and Ms. Annie Loi, Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility of Public Relations of GEG, and were presented with a MOP700,000 donation cheque.
Representatives from GEG used the visit to acknowledge Tung Sin Tong’s long track record of service and to exchange views on advancing Macao’s charitable and social-service landscape.
Discussions covered joint activities and future collaboration opportunities aimed at expanding services and strengthening community impact.
Recent joint initiatives illustrate this ongoing partnership. GEG and Tung Sin Tong co-organised youth-focused activities tied to the “2025 International Cities of Gastronomy Fest, Macao,” enabling Escola Tung Sin Tong students to participate in an “Off-site Collaboration with Overseas Invited Chef” event emphasising sustainable dining and resource recycling.
GEG also hosted storytelling workshops and invited more than 100 students and teachers from the school to an open rehearsal at Broadway Theatre for the “35th Macao Art Festival – Macao Chinese Orchestra Cantonese Opera Concert ‘Unveiling Harmonious Voices’,” supporting cultural education and community engagement.
This donation and related programming are part of GEG’s broader corporate-social responsibility approach to leverage corporate resources for social good, foster inter-sector collaboration, and support the sustainable development of Macao’s social and cultural ecosystem.
