The award ceremony was held in Hong Kong, where Ms. Linda Wong, Assistant Senior Vice President of Public Relations of GEG, attended and accepted the award on behalf of GEG.
Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) was honored with the “Excellence in Social Positive Impact – Commendation” at the 8th Hong Kong ESG Reporting Awards (HERA), becoming the first integrated resort operator in Macau to achieve this recognition.
This accolade highlights GEG’s long-term commitment to sustainability and its active role in creating positive environmental and social value for the local community.
Rooted in the philosophy of “What is taken from the community is to be used for the good of the community,” GEG continues to advance its corporate social responsibility efforts through strategic initiatives that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The award also marks the second consecutive year that GEG has been recognized by HERA, following last year’s “Community Engagement Excellence Award” and “ESG Report Benchmark Award”.

GEG’s dedication to sustainable progress has been widely recognized with several international accolades. The company received the “Sustainability Award” from the International Gaming Awards for two consecutive years and the “Best Overall CSR Program” at the “2025 IAG Academy IR Awards”.
Additionally, GEG holds the most EarthCheck certifications among integrated tourism and leisure enterprises in Macau and the Greater Bay Area. Both The Promenade Shops at Galaxy Macau and the Galaxy International Convention Center have also earned LEED Gold Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
Furthermore, GEG became the first company in Hong Kong and Macau to be awarded Oxfam’s “Eat Fair Corporate” Certificate.
