The Ukrainian Interior Minister, Denys Monastyrsky, is one of the fatalities of the crash of a helicopter that happened today on the outskirts of Kiev and that according to the provisional balance left 16 dead, said the national police of Ukraine.
“We have information on 16 dead, including two children,” police said in a statement released to the press.
The Minister of the Interior, the Deputy Minister of the Governor and “another senior official” who were on board the plane “also died”, is mentioned in the same statement.
So far, the circumstances that caused the device to fall near a kindergarten on the outskirts of the Ukrainian capital are not known.
