Tourism | DST expects to attract 10,000 visitors from Hong Kong a day
In three days, Macau received almost 110,000 visitors, a sudden increase that will have to be accompanied by the readaptation of the sector that has lost a large part of its workforce in the last three years. The Government expects to attract 10,000 tourists from Hong Kong daily
Between Sunday and Tuesday, 109,386 visitors entered Macau, numbers that the territory was already becoming accustomed to, despite contemplating two weekdays.
According to data released yesterday by the Public Security Police Corps, around 36,500 visitors crossed the border into the territory on a daily average during the aforementioned period.
