Inflation in Africa will remain “high” in 2023, which could lead to a debt crisis in some countries on the continent, the World Bank’s (WB) chief economist for Africa, Andrew Dabalen, told EFE.
“Inflation will remain stubbornly high in Africa and globally, making continued monetary tightening at the global level necessary,” Dabalen said in an interview with the Spanish news agency on Monday.
