“In the 2nd round, PT would win with 52% and the current president would have 36%. Numbers of top candidates remain stable. The government’s disapproval is 57%, against 38% who approve. Former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) continues to lead the race for the presidency in the October elections, according to a survey by the Ipec Institute, released this Monday. fair (05/09).
The numbers of the main candidates remained practically the same as in the institute’s previous survey, on August 29, with fluctuations occurring within the margin of error, of more or less two percentage points.
According to the poll released this Monday, Lula is ahead with 44% of voting intentions, against 31% for Jair Bolsonaro (PL) in the first round of elections. The PT held the same percentage as in the previous poll, while the current president fluctuated one point down.
