Mount Everest “grows” after historic agreement between China and Nepal

Mount Everest, the world’s largest mountain, had its height revised on Tuesday, after an agreement between China and Nepal on the subject, after decades of debate.

The height set for the highest mountain in the world, which lies between the two countries, was revealed at a joint news conference on Tuesday in Kathmandu: 8,848.86 meters.
