Plataforma – Macau learned from The Monetary Authority of Macao that the preliminary estimate of the SAR’s foreign exchange reserves amounted to MOP189.6 billion (USD23.75 billion) at the end of June 2020.
According to The Monetary Authority of Macao, the reserves increased by 3.5% from the revised value of MOP183.3 billion (USD22.95 billion) for the previous month. The SAR’s foreign exchange reserves at end-June 2020 represented 10 times the currency in circulation or 85.4% of pataca M2 at end-May 2020.
