São Paulo police officers will wear cameras in uniform

The governor of São Paulo, João Doria (PSDB), announced on Monday, the 13th, that 2,000 state police officers will start using cameras in their uniforms as of August 1.

The so-called “body cameras” are small lapel cameras, attached to the policeman’s uniform. The images are recorded in the cloud and cannot be deleted. Doria said another 3,000 cameras will be purchased.
