The social network Facebook removed several political ads from the President of the United States, Donald Trump, which criticized the far left and displayed an inverted red triangle, a symbol used by the Nazis to identify political prisoners in concentration camps.
“We do not allow symbols that represent odious organizations or odious ideologies, unless it is to condemn them,” said Facebook’s director of cybersecurity regulations, Nathaneil Gleicher, quoted by France-Presse (AFP).
The head of the American technology giant answered the questions asked today in the United States Congress about an article in The Washington Post, which revealed the existence of these ads.
