The UEFA Executive Committee met this Wednesday to decide the location of the Champions League final. Lisbon was the chosen city.
The information is being advanced by RTP, which cites a source linked to the process. The Champions League finals are scheduled for August 11-23 with seven games. Official confirmation will be made this afternoon by UEFA.
The Champions League final will have an unprecedented format due to the covid-19 pandemic: it will be a “final eight”, that is, the quarter-finals and then the last game, with just one hand. and without an audience. The sixteenth-round games are yet to be decided, while the round of 16 will take place in Turin, Italy. The games are scheduled for the month of August.
