Plataforma bets on representations in Luanda and São Paulo in 2021

The director of Plataforma said today that the project’s next bet, which marks six years of existence now, is to establish, after Lisbon, a presence in Luanda and São Paulo, in the next year.

“I am going to make a bet: on the seventh anniversary, we will have opened [representations] in Luanda and São Paulo, as we are now opening in Lisbon”, although the model and size may be different, Paulo Rego told Lusa, on the day launch of the new Plataforma website. “Lisbon must be self-sustaining and, if it is, it means that we will be opening in Luanda and São Paulo, which is already being discussed”, he stressed.

The project, which started in Macau with a bilingual weekly (Portuguese-Chinese), was defined by the creation of networks and partnerships with various media, mainly Portuguese and Chinese. Currently with 15 partners in Portugal, Brazil, Angola and China, Paulo Rego now wants to invest in Cape Verde and Mozambique, in “an obvious growth in Africa”.
