Italy recorded 153 deaths associated with covid-19 in the last 24 hours, 89 fewer than in the previous 24 hours and the lowest number since March 10, the date of the beginning of the confinement.
In total, since the emergence of the first cases in the country, on February 21, Italy accounts for 224,760 cases of infection and 31,763 deaths.
From Friday to today, 875 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported, up from 789 registered the day before.
