Citizens who earn salaries of up to 70,000 kwanzas will be exempt from the Work Income Tax discount, the Secretary of State for Finance and Treasury, Osvaldo João said in Parliament today.
“Income in real terms has decreased and the maximum exemption amount from the past no longer represents the lowest income. That is why we have increased from 34 thousand to 70 thousand kwanzas”, explained Osvaldo João.
The Secretary of State spoke to the press, after the debate, in particular, at the meeting of the specialized Labor Commissions of the National Assembly, about changes to the Tax Codes.
