Football teams will be able to make five substitutions per game in three moments, FIFA announced this Friday, after the agreement of the International Board (IFAB), with a view to protecting players due to the covid-19 pandemic.
“As football is considering resuming competition around the world after the covid-19 pandemic, the IFAB has agreed to make a temporary change to the Laws of the Game, based on the proposal made by FIFA to protect the player’s well-being” , read in the statement of the body that governs world football.
