U.S. scientist says he was fired for warning about drug suggested by President

US President called on the daily briefings to use the malaria drug to treat the new coronavirus.

A U.S. government scientist said he was fired after criticizing President Donald Trump’s pressure to use a malaria drug to treat Covid-19.

Rick Bright, former director of the Biomedical Authority for Advanced Research and Development, a government agency, filed a complaint for the way he was removed from his post at the Office of the Special Council, an agency that receives and analyzes complaints.
