With this decision, AGT stops collecting 148 billion kwanzas, within the framework of the fiscal relief measures adopted by the Executive to face the impact of Covid-19. In the same way, the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) stops receiving 29 billion kwanzas of contributions due as of May 10, when companies should fulfill their obligations for April.
The measures are available to companies for tax relief, payment of wages and facilitating access to credit. Speaking to the press, at the end of the 4th ordinary meeting of the Economic Commission of the Council of Ministers, chaired by President João Lourenço, at the Talatona Convention Center (CCTA), the Minister of Economy and Planning, Sérgio Santos, informed that the INSS will dispense with contributions, ensuring that the eight percent remain in the companies, over a period of three months.
