One month after announcing on social media that the Bolsonaro government’s Special Secretariat for Culture would take measures to protect the cultural sector, Regina Duarte has not yet acted effectively to help the class. The inaction of the secretariat collides with the quarantine imposed by states and municipalities, and producers and lawyers warn that the agency has not adapted to the urgency that the complete shutdown of the sector and the resulting losses demand.
