Helena de Senna Fernandes’ words were spoken this morning and are quoted by TDM’s Chinese language radio station.
The official adds that after three days of the golden week, the number of tourists entering Macau is “satisfactory” – there have been around 150 thousand entries. The hotel occupancy rate is around 80 and 90 percent.
Senna Fernandes also pointed to next year. The director said that the objective of the department she heads is to expand tourism to other markets, with measures to attract people outside the countries and regions that usually have a presence in Macau.
