Zhuhai is not attractive to work among young people in Macao. At least that is what the results of a survey conducted by a local association indicate.
According to the results, about 71 per cent of the respondents responded negatively to the possibility of working on the other side of the gates. Most allege family reasons and lack of information about the city.
The respondents said they would expect a salary of around 12,000 reminbi per month if they chose to work in Zhuhai. The survey was conducted on 1040 Macao residents aged between 18 and 45.
