What the U.S. authorities are arrogantly unwilling to learn is that the Communist Party of China in 2020 is not the Communist Party of the Soviet Union during the Stalin era in the 20th century. The United States’ indiscriminate opposition to the Chinese Communist Party and the Chinese government, in the eyes of the Chinese people, is not attacking a particular Chinese political theory or ideology but hurting China and the Chinese people.
The view is far from the truth. From the Chinese people’s perspective, this is of course not against the Chinese government, but against China. Under the very unfair treatment of the United States, the people of the country will be associated with their own governments, and they will feel disgusted and even hateful for the arrogance, hostility, rudeness, and offensive behavior of the United States.
