Norway, the country that resists the reopening. “This is a nightmare”

With 248 dead for a population of nearly 5 and a half million, Norway has been touted as a success story in the fight against covid-19. And the authorities are committed to keeping it that way.

This summer there is a nationality that we will not see on the beaches of southern Europe: Norwegian. The Nordic country, one of the first to control the covid-19 pandemic, is currently one of those that most resists the reopening that can be seen all over the continent. Entry to Norway remains prohibited to all non-residents and travel outside the country, although not formally prohibited, requires a ten-day quarantine on return. This at least until August 20th.

Prime Minister Erna Solberg herself has already said that the holidays she had scheduled in Spain will have to stay for another year.
