The Defense and Security Forces of Mocímboa da Praia, in Cabo Delgado, slaughtered 22 terrorists on June 9, the military source told the Mozambican newspaper A Carta.
According to the same publication, 13 of the 22 killed terrorists had been captured, but they are said to have been killed for not cooperating with the authorities.
In this confrontation, two elements of the Defense and Security Forces of Mocímboa da Praia were also killed, and there are also reports of the beheading of 11 civilians in the last three days by the terrorists.
