“The sanctions are chronological and not for specific events”, justifies the organization from Switzerland, based on the regulations of the World Anti-Doping Agency (AMA).

According to the IOC, AMA, as an international anti-doping body, “clarified that, under current rules, doping sanctions are chronological and not event-specific.”
