Guided by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, the meeting also examined, in the economic segment, the report on the execution of the General State Budget (GSB) for the fourth quarter of 2019, a document that follows the National Assembly.
The report highlights data and records on the execution of the revised GSB, reflected in the budget, financial, equity and statement of changes in equity. Throughout the fourth quarter of 2019, the average price of a barrel of oil was around 62 US dollars (USD), 12% above the average price of $ 55 forecast in the 2019 GSB review, with the production amounted to 124 million barrels. In the same quarter of 2019, the Kwanza’s average exchange rate against the reference exchange rate and that of the informal market, went from 150.62% to 22.97%.
