South Korean investigators begin lifting wreckage of crashed Jeju Air flight

South Korean investigators began lifting the wreckage of Jeju Air flight 2216 on Friday, AFP reporters saw, the Boeing 737-800 which crashed on landing at Muan Airport killing 179 people on board.

A giant yellow crane was lifting chunks of the burned-out wreckage of the plane, AFP reporters saw, including what appeared to be an engine section. The plane, which was flying from Bangkok to South Korea, crashed Sunday.
