Former US President Donald Trump won the New Hampshire primaries, strengthening his grip on the Republican nomination and the likelihood of facing the current head of state, Joe Biden, again in the November presidential election.
The result, reported by the North American press on Tuesday, goes against the expectations of former ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley, who invested significant time and financial resources in trying to win the state.
With 28% of the votes counted in New Hampshire, Trump beat Haley with 53.4%.
