According to the newspaper “New York Times”, which cites police sources, the bodies have not yet been officially identified and it is not known whether the two young women, aged 14 and 16, are among the seven corpses now found.
Okmulgee County Police Chief Eddy Rice told the same newspaper that searches to detect the two teenagers were suspended after the discovery of the seven bodies in the town of Henryett, south of Tulsa. “We thought we found everything we were looking for,” Rice said, adding that a homicide case had been launched.
Speaking to the newspaper “Tulsa World”, the police responsible, Eddy Rice, said that the authorities believe “the two missing girls” are among the seven corpses found. According to the same newspaper, the bodies were found inside the property where a man who has already been convicted of sexual assault lives and who was identified by authorities as Jesse McFadden, 39 years old.
The search operation for the two girls was issued on Monday after they were spotted inside a car driven by McFadden.
