Almost 134.000 visitors entered Macau on the Labour Day Golden Week’s second day, smashing previous records.
According to provisional figures from the Public Security Police, a total of 133,911 tourists crossed the border on Sunday, April 30.
The Border Gate checkpoint was the most used gateway by tourists to enter the Region with more than 55,000 visitors registered, signalling the Mainland market importance during the Labour Day Golden Week. Second was the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge with little less than 29,000 visitors.
During the Labour Day Golden Week, the Public Security Police says that a total of 109,196 tourists had entered Macau.
