European Union (EU) foreign ministers agreed on Monday (23) to implement an additional package of 500 million euros (about $540 million) to finance arms deliveries to Ukraine, diplomatic sources said.

A package of 45 million euros was also approved for the training of Ukrainian troops. According to information provided to AFP by meeting participants, the European ministers gathered in Brussels held a videoconference with Ukrainian diplomatic chief Dmytro Kuleba.
