Faced with global warming and its growing impacts, humanity faces the dilemma of “cooperate or die”, warned the UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, this Monday, in front of more than 100 world leaders gathered in Egypt for the COP27.
“Humanity has a choice: cooperate or die. Either a pact for climate solidarity, or a pact for collective suicide,” Guterres said in his speech on the second day of COP27 in Sharm el Sheikh.
