The Daily Mail reveals this Wednesday that Todd Boehly, owner of Chelsea, met with Jorge Mendes this summer and spoke to the agent about a possible purchase of a Portuguese club.
The blues owner intends to establish a “multi-club model”, similar to the Manchester City owner group, which also owns Girona (Spain), Troyes (France), New York City (MLS) and Melbourne City ( Australia), among others.
