This Thursday the joint edition of the Macau International Fair, the Exhibition of Products and Services of Portuguese Speaking Countries and the Franchise Fair kicks off. It is the first time that these three fairs have taken place simultaneously.
Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the fair has undergone some changes. The president of the Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), Benson Lau, speaks of challenges but also of opportunities that must be seized.
“We hope that the organization of these three events can have a triple effect. Even if there are geographical barriers, even if there is an epidemic, we want to expand the functioning, communication and contacts between companies ”, he said.
